Romans one study and thoughts
Romans has so much wisdom and direction! Today my Dad and I read the same chapter in the Bible which makes me think God is trying to teach us something. . .Let's look. The chapter was Romans 1. Scripture : For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is by the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. . . Romans 1:16 Observation Me: Paul says that he is not ashamed of knowing Christ and having faith in Jesus. I think we should do that too. Dad: Not ashamed? Why would I be ashamed of such an amazing thing as God's plan of saving me from my sins? Because when I am with others suddenly my pride gets to big and I don't want look weird around them. If I can remember how important the gospel is, I can be ready to share it. Application Me: I need to not be ashamed in my faith in Christ.
